wrangler.toml ↔ wrangler.jsonc converter

Paste a Wrangler config in either format and get the other one back. It also flags common problems and generates binding snippets. Runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

    Why convert to wrangler.jsonc?

Wrangler reads its configuration from wrangler.toml, wrangler.json or wrangler.jsonc. JSON with comments works with editors, schema validation and other tools you already use. The converter keeps the structure identical, so the result means the same thing to Wrangler.

    What gets lost

Comments are not carried across. A TOML or JSON parser reads the data, not the comments, so copy any comments you want to keep by hand after converting.

    What the checks look for

    • A missing name or compatibility_date.
    • Old Wrangler v1 keys such as type = "javascript" or "webpack".
    • The deprecated [site] section for Workers Sites.

These are hints, not a full validation. Wrangler itself is the final judge, so run npx wrangler deploy --dry-run after converting.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is my config uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser.

Which compatibility date should I use?
For a new project, Cloudflare's docs suggest today's date. Tick the option above to set it.

See what every Worker is bound to.

WorkerDock reads each project's Wrangler config and draws its D1, KV, R2, queue and service bindings, without ever showing secret values.
